The best reads are rescued
We’ve just launched our latest campaign! With the help of some famous faces, we’re sharing the joys of rehoming. But not all is quite as it seems…
We’ve teamed up with Radio 6’s Gemma Cairney and TV presenter Radzi Chinyanganya to spread the word about the Rehoming Revolution. You’d be forgiven for thinking they’re describing a new pet they’ve brought into their lives. In fact, we’re talking books!
Here at Wob HQ, we rehome a book with a new owner every two seconds. Bringing joy to people’s lives by sharing the love of reading is what we are all about. We’ve taken the chance to highlight the emotional connection people feel towards books, how stories stay with us forever and can shape our outlook on life. With many of us sharing our lives with four-legged friends, we noticed a few similarities between finding the right home for a book and how many dogs (and cats, and other lovely animals) are looking for their perfect fit too. What’s right for one person may not be right for another! And so, our Book Rescue campaign was born.
Take a look at our campaign films and let us know what you think! We’ve also got some cheeky behind the scenes shots below from a fabulous day’s shoot with Gemma and Radzi (and Bruno the dog!).
Check out our fantastic range of books waiting to be rescued.

This is interesting but it doesn’t explain how and on what terms World of Books take books. Do you collect them? How do I contact you? I have got the message but not the method!
Hello Marion,
We source our books from charities, partners, and also customers through our Ziffit trade-in business. Find out more about our company over on the About Us page on our website. https://www.worldofbooks.com/en-gb/about-us
I have unsubscribed now five times. You are certainly going the right way to ensure that I do not buy anymore books from you. If I see books I require I will buy them. Pestering me with constant emails is not the way to do it!
Hello Lisa,
I will forward your request onto the relevant team to ensure your email is removed from our mailing list as soon as possible.
Many thanks
I recently purchased 2 books from you, 1 was in such a poor condition i have had to re purchase from some where else
Hello Rose,
I’m sorry that the condition of your book fell before our standards. Please contact us via our website so we can help resolve this issue for you.
WE HAVE 9 BOOKS WE HAVE PURCHASED FROM YOU AND 100s of others we would like to dispose of to your organisation. How do we do that…?
Hi Suzie,
Thanks for getting in touch regarding your used books! We buy books through our site and app Ziffit.
