Here at World of Books, we are an office divided, we went to very different secondary schools and studied very different books for our English Literature exams. However, there are some books that school really did ruin for us and we have compiled a list of some of our top books.

Okay, so before you go all Cersei Lannister on me – hear me out. I am a fantasy fiction fan. Dragons? Love them. Magic tales? Yes please, I’d read them 100 times over. I have read Lord of the Rings more times than I’d care to count, Terry Pratchett makes my sides aches from laughter, and don’t even get me started on Harry Potter, as I would just never stop. However, somehow Games of Thrones leaves something to be desired.

We are trying to find a better season to read a book, Summer is up there with Winter at a very close second. The contrast between sitting in a park on a blanket with a good read and sitting in front of a fire with a cup of tea are very different but both warm our souls here at World of Books. We have compiled a list of Dos and Don’ts for Summer reading this season.
